Not bad for such a young climb!<\/p>\n<p>Rising to \n2,304\n2,304 metres above sea level, a road reserved exclusively for bikes links M\u00e9ribel and Courchevel (in either direction). No motor vehicles are allowed on the last \n\u00b1\n7\n\u00b17 kilometres: a stunning natural setting, and at the top, breathtaking 360\u00b0 views over the Alps. But this summit must be earned, with ramps above \n20\n%\n20% and a truly unique ride\u2014this is not your typical mountain pass, with gradients that never settle into a steady rhythm, right in the heart of nature. What more could you ask for?<\/p>\n<p>To experience it for yourself, take part in the Col de la Loze Challenge (formerly the Gran Fondo Col de la Loze):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A full support package to help you take on this sporting challenge<\/li>\n<li>Aid stations to refuel and keep you going to the finish<\/li>\n<li>Volunteers and the organising team there to cheer you on<\/li>\n<li>The group dynamic that pushes you beyond your limits<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A personal challenge you\u2019ll remember for a long time\u2014we promise!<\/p>\n<p>That said, this climb isn\u2019t only for seasoned athletes. On the day, you\u2019ll need patience (pace your effort), determination, and a bike with the right gearing\u2014or enough electric assist power.<\/p>\n<p>Now in its 7th<sup>th<\/sup> ann\u00e9e cons\u00e9cutive, cette course Col de la Loze Challenge propose aussi un parcours qui ne va pas au col de la Loze, un <a href=\"https:\/\/coldelalozebyblb.com\/en\/parcours30km\/\">30 km,<\/a> sur lequel nous avons l\u2019honneur chaque ann\u00e9e de b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier notamment de la participation d\u2019une trentaine de curistes. Et Oui Brides-les-Bains est une station thermale et il \u00e9tait inconcevable de ne pas les impliquer dans cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement. \u00a0Ces personnes en qu\u00eate de perte de poids pour la majorit\u00e9, reprennent une activit\u00e9 physique dans le cadre de leur dispositif de soins. \u00a0Quoi de mieux, qu\u2019un d\u00e9fi v\u00e9lo encadr\u00e9\u00a0!<\/p>\n<p>Cette cyclosportive propose 4 parcours (<a href=\"https:\/\/coldelalozebyblb.com\/en\/parcours-ultimate-117-km\/\">117km<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/coldelalozebyblb.com\/en\/parcours-53-km\/\">53km<\/a>,<a href=\"https:\/\/coldelalozebyblb.com\/en\/parcours-46-km\/\"> 46km<\/a> et <a href=\"https:\/\/coldelalozebyblb.com\/en\/parcours30km\/\">30km<\/a>), tous ouverts aux VAE, sauf le 117km. Le Col de la Loze doit \u00eatre un r\u00eave accessible au plus grand nombre.<\/p>\n<p>Starting from Brides-les-Bains, the challenge is long\u2014but the view from the top is so worth it.
